Flameworking and Kilnforming L109
The glass forming method known as flameworking involves using heat from a torch to shape and sometimes bond glass.
In this lesson, we offer an overview of flameworking and demonstrate how to create basic flameworked elements. We then discuss how flameworking can be used with any form of Bullseye compatible glass—including sheet, frit, rod, or stringer. By combining flameworking and kilnforming methods, you can achieve a broad range of unique effects and objects.
