Currently residing in Newtown, Connecticut, Kelly Makuch is a multimedia artist whose experience includes painting, sculpture, advertising, and film. For the past 18 years, kilnformed glass has also featured in her repertoire of materials. Makuch finds that the medium of glass offers her practice particular freedom. It allows her to creatively express the subliminal powers of both realistic and abstract representation. In this video, Makuch discusses the relationship between glass and creative freedom.
